An Active Dog is a Happy Dog! ™
Paws & Rec began it’s business over 10 years ago with their signature 2-hour walk. Recognizing the need for urban dogs to get as much outdoor activity as suburban & rural dogs receive, Paws & Rec designed a 2-hour outing that combines a vigorous walk to pick up & drop off 3 to 4 other pack mates and a 45-60 minute visit at an official dog park or open space. This longer amount of time enables each dog in the pack to be physically and mentally stimulated with lots of playtime and socializing thereby improving their overall well-being.
We understand that some dogs have unique needs, whether they are puppies, seniors, or simply require a bit of extra care. To accommodate them, we offer shorter, gentler walks of either 30 or 60 minutes. These walks are designed to provide the exercise and companionship your dog needs, without overwhelming them.
“Paws & Rec is a wonderful dog walking service that was always accommodating to our dog’s and family’s particular needs. For higher energy, larger dogs, they are especially good because of their signature 2 hour outings. Our dog always bounded towards the door when his walkers arrived and was sufficiently worn out at the end of every day. Our walkers were always on time, communicative and flexible about any last minute scheduling change requests we made and were even available on weekends we stayed in town when we needed it. I recommend them without reservation.
